Sandy Hurd, Ph.D.

Sandy brings over 20 years of pharmaceutical experience to Anji and is responsible for process development and manufacturing of Anji clinical trial medicines. Sandy has rich technical experience in drug substance and drug product from supporting regulatory toxicology studies to late clinical stage/commercial development. Additionally, he has led several small molecule discovery programs at Pharmacia, Pfizer, and Lycera in antibiotics, inflammation, and auto-immune disease areas.
Sandy received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois and was a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard University.
